Veterinarian
Dr. Pilcher is a 1982 graduate of Colorado State University where he received his DVM degree. He is also a graduate from Weber State University with a BS in Zoology. Dr. Pilcher practiced in a small animal and exotic Practice in Las Vegas Nevada and an emergency clinic in Denver, Colorado for several years before moving to Idaho. He was owner and practice manager of the Conger Small Animal Hospital from 1986 to 2009. In 2009, after years of detailed planning, construction of a new veterinary hospital was completed at the same location and renamed "Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital". Dr. Pilcher takes an interest in ophthalmic, orthopedic, and critical care cases at the hospital and is known for his comedic humor.
Veterinarian
Dr. Ludwig is a 1988 honors graduate of Texas A & M where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Ludwig enjoys going camping, listening to music, and absolutely loves working with our feline patients. She is keen on providing diagnostic radiographs that can help assist her with providing quality patient care. She also has two special kitties of her own, Josie and Henry, who she is very passionate about.
Veterinarian
We would like to welcome Dr. Cassie Hamilton to our hospital! A graduate of the University of Missouri, Dr. Hamilton started as a relief veterinarian and has worked all over the country. She most recently was apart of the San Diego Humane Society and has served as the Chief Veterinarian for the San Diego Department of Animal Services as well. She has organized many spay and neuter clinics and is a very proactive member of the community. Dr. Hamilton focuses on patient care and compassion with a dedication to client communication.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Dee is a graduate of Colorado State University. She is a Licensed and Certified Veterinary Technician. She worked as a veterinary technician for many years at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences as an Animal Specialist in ophthalmology and oncology as well as a research technician in Physiology and Microbiology. She has also worked for the State Board of Veterinary Medicine in Colorado. She has been with Conger Small Animal Hospital and Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital since 1987. Dee has worked with the English Setter Club of America collecting data for the breed to help with genetic research of dog breeds with genetic diseases or disorders.
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, Certified Veterinary Technician, Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional
Niki joined our team in January 2012 and graduated with honors later that year from Brown Mackie College in Boise with a degree in Veterinary Technology. After starting her family, she returned to school at Penn Foster and completed the Veterinary Practice Management Program. She was later awarded her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation and continually seeks ways to grow within our hospital.
Niki enjoys interacting with clients, assisting with anesthesia, and contributing to staff training and development. At home, she shares her life with her dogs, Sammie and Hank, her cat, Cheeto, a Leopard Gecko, and Guinea Pigs. In her free time, Niki loves to travel, volunteer at her daughters' school, and help lead their Girl Scout Troop. Her dedication and multifaceted skills make her an invaluable member of our team.
Bookkeeper, Veterinary Technician
Nikki joined our team in August of 2003. She went to school and is a certified medical assistant, but found out that her true passion was working with animals and interacting with our clients. Nikki shares her home with an English Setter, "Ramsee", Great Dane, "Eva", and 2 Miniature Schnauzers, "Tank" and "Sophie", as well as a cat "Wasee" and 6 horses! Outside of work Nikki enjoys camping, fishing, and riding horses with her husband, son, and daughter.
Certified Veteinary Technician
Gina grew up on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon. She trained horses to put herself through the College of Southern Idaho where she graduated with an AA degree in Equine Studies. She returned to the ranch and was employed at a mixed animal veterinary practice in Payette for 2 1/2 years before getting married and moving to Marsing. Gina joined our team in April of 2001. She lives on a small acreage with her husband, son, daughter, and numerous chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, cats and cows. She doesn't really have any "free" time, but enjoys training horses, doing ranch work, and watching her kids play sports, rodeo, and show their critters.
Veterinary Technician
Tina joined our team in October 1989. She graduated from Boise State with an Associate of Health Sciences degree in Medical Records. Tina lives on her family's farm with her husband, many horses, dogs, and cats. She enjoys spending time with her son, daughters, and new grandson, and watching college football. Tina loves meeting new clients and helping them learn how to properly care for their pets.
Certified Veterinary Technician
After graduating from Washington State University in 2011 (Go Cougs!), Jennifer moved back to Southern Idaho to be closer to family. Inspired by the veterinary technicians who cared for her family pets, Jennifer decided to pursue a career in animal healthcare. She achieved this goal through Brown Mackie College and is now a certified veterinary technician.
Jennifer enjoys working with all the various animals that come through our doors, but her favorite patients are, of course, her own pets: a Shepherd, two Border Collie mixes, and a cat. Her dedication to providing quality healthcare to animals makes her a valuable member of our team.
Veterinary Technician
Jamie joined our team in March 2019 as a Veterinary Technician. She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Brown Mackie College in 2012. In her free time, Jamie enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with her three kids. She looks forward to continuing her education and utilizing her skills to care for her patients. Jamie always enjoys learning new things to help provide quality patient care, making her a valuable member of our team.
Veterinary Technician
Morgan re-joined our hospital as a technician in 2022 after a short break, and we are thrilled to have her back! She attended Blue Mountain Community College, working towards her certificate in Veterinary Assisting. Morgan resides in Malheur County, Oregon, with her daughter and a variety of horses, cows, and dogs.
At home, Morgan enjoys riding her horse and helping out on her family's ranch. In her role at the hospital, she particularly enjoys performing blood draws and processing blood panels in-house. We are delighted to have Morgan back on our team!
Veterinary Technician
Jenny joined our team in February 2020, arriving as both a new veterinary technician and a new resident of Idaho. Hailing from San Jose, California, Jenny brings a strong background in veterinary medicine to our practice. Outside of work, she is a new mom and is taking in all there is to learn about motherhood. She also enjoys playing with her puppy, Fina, exploring new dining spots, and playing computer games.
Jenny is enthusiastic about meeting all the new clients and their pets at Indian Creek. She has a deep compassion for caring for and loving her medical patients, making her a cherished member of our team.
Veterinary Assistant
A Caldwell native, Ilda brings several years of experience in human healthcare to our team, with expertise in patient care, first aid, CPR, and addressing neglect. Outside of work, Ilda enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors on walks, and catching the latest movies. She loves Marvel movies and is eager to hit the theatres with her loved ones! At home, she loves to relax with her rescued senior pup. Ilda's compassion and diverse skill set make her a wonderful addition to our team.
Veterinary Assistant
Emily joined our team in the spring of 2024 after completing the Veterinary Assistant program at Boise State University. She has a lifelong passion for rescuing animals and currently cares for an impressive menagerie, including over 13 cats, 10 dogs, numerous chickens, geese, goats, pigs, a rabbit, parakeets, a cockatiel, a blue and gold macaw, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, aquatic turtles, a variety of fish, and tortoises.
In her free time, Emily enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and fishing, spending time with her dog Bruce, and engaging in fitness-related pursuits at the gym. She is enthusiastic about expanding her skills, particularly in blood draws and assisting with surgical procedures. Emily's dedication to animal care and her eagerness to learn make her a valuable member of our team.
Veterinary Assistant
As a recent graduate from Pima Medical Institute, Kirsten is eager to put her skills to work here at Indian Creek. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up on the latest shows on Netflix, spending time with her family, and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Treasure Valley. Kirsten is very excited to start her career in veterinary medicine and is working towards completing her education in veterinary technology to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Her dedication and enthusiasm make her a valuable addition to our team.
Veterinary Assistant
Briana joined our team at the end of 2023 as our new Veterinary Assistant. She is a recent graduate from Blue Mountain Community College, where she earned her certificate in veterinary assisting. During her time in college, Briana volunteered for the Pioneer Humane Society, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
In her spare time, Briana enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling. She is eager to expand her knowledge in veterinary medicine and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and clients. Briana's enthusiasm and commitment make her a valuable addition to our team.
