William Pilcher, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Pilcher earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1982, following a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Weber State University. His early career included working in small animal and exotic pet practices in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as an emergency veterinary clinic in Denver, Colorado.
In 1986, Dr. Pilcher became the owner and practice manager of Conger Small Animal Hospital. After years of planning and dedication, he led the development of a new, state-of-the-art facility on the same site, which opened in 2009 under the new name Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Pilcher has a special interest in ophthalmology, orthopedics, and critical care. He is also known among clients and staff for his approachable nature and lighthearted sense of humor.
Christine Ludwig, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Ludwig is a 1988 honors graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. With a passion for feline medicine, she especially enjoys caring for her feline patients and is known for her gentle and thoughtful approach.
Dr. Ludwig takes a particular interest in diagnostic radiology and values the role of high-quality imaging in delivering accurate, effective patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys camping and listening to music. At home, she shares her life with three beloved cats, Josie, Bolt, and Henry.
Cassie Hamilton, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Cassie Hamilton has been a valued part of the Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital team for several years. A graduate of the University of Missouri, she brings extensive experience from her work as a relief veterinarian across the country. Prior to joining our team, she served with the San Diego Humane Society and held the position of Chief Veterinarian for the San Diego Department of Animal Services.
Dr. Hamilton is passionate about community outreach and has organized numerous spay and neuter clinics throughout her career. She is a strong advocate for dental health in pets and is dedicated to helping clients understand the importance of oral care in overall wellness. Known for her compassionate approach, Dr. Hamilton prioritizes high-quality patient care and clear, supportive communication with pet owners.
Niki, CVT, CVPM, CCFP
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, Certified Veterinary Technician, Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional
Niki has been a dedicated member of our team since January 2012. She graduated with honors from Brown Mackie College in Boise with a degree in Veterinary Technology (CVT) and later pursued further education through Penn Foster, completing the Veterinary Practice Management Program. Niki has earned her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation, as well as her Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP) credential, and she remains committed to continuous growth within our hospital.
Niki thrives in client interactions, enjoys assisting with anesthesia cases, and plays a key role in staff training and development. Her passion for veterinary medicine is matched by her dedication to supporting the well-being of both patients and the team.
At home, Niki enjoys the company of her dogs Sammie and Hank, her cat Cheeto, a Leopard Gecko, and a group of cheerful Guinea Pigs. Outside of work, she loves to travel, volunteer at her daughters' school, and cheer them on at soccer and basketball games. Her leadership, compassion, and diverse skill set make her an invaluable part of our hospital family.
Nikki, MA
Bookkeeper, Veterinary Technician
Nikki has been a valued member of our team since August 2003. Although she originally trained and became certified as a Medical Assistant, she quickly discovered that her true passion lies in working with animals and building lasting relationships with our clients.
Nikki’s home is full of life, shared with her English Setter Ramsee, Great Dane Eva, Miniature Schnauzer Sophie, Cori Duke, her cat Wasee, and a variety of horses, goats, and cows. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors—camping, fishing, and riding horses with her husband and their two children. Nikki also loves supporting her kids in their 4-H, FFA, and livestock judging events.
Her dedication to animal care and her warm, welcoming personality make her a vital part of our team.
Gina, CVT
Certified Veteinary Technician
Gina grew up on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon, where her love for animals and ranch life began. She trained horses to put herself through the College of Southern Idaho, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Equine Studies. After college, she returned to the ranch and worked at a mixed animal veterinary practice in Payette for two and a half years before getting married and relocating to Owyhee County.
Gina joined our team in April 2001 and has been a dedicated and knowledgeable part of our clinic ever since. She now lives on a small acreage with her husband, son, daughter, and a wide array of animals, including chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, cats, and cows.
Though she rarely has “free” time, Gina enjoys training horses, working on the ranch, and supporting her kids in sports, rodeo, and livestock shows. Her strong work ethic, deep animal experience, and warm personality make her an essential member of our team.
Jennifer, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
After graduating from Washington State University in 2011 (Go Cougs!), Jennifer returned to Southern Idaho to be closer to family. Inspired by the veterinary technicians who cared for her childhood pets, she pursued her own path in animal healthcare—earning her degree from Brown Mackie College and becoming a certified veterinary technician.
Jennifer enjoys the variety of animals she gets to work with every day, but her favorite patients will always be her own: a Shepherd and two Border Collie mixes. Outside the clinic, she loves exploring new places to eat and going on adventures with her daughter.
Jennifer’s compassion, clinical knowledge, and commitment to quality care make her a valued member of our team.
Jamie
Veterinary Technician
Jamie joined our team in March 2019 and brings a strong passion for animal care to her role as a Veterinary Technician. She earned her degree in Veterinary Technology from Brown Mackie College in 2012 and has been dedicated to growing her skills ever since.
Often one of the first smiling faces you'll see when you walk into the clinic, Jamie is always ready to assist clients and their pets with compassion and care. She especially enjoys learning new techniques to enhance patient care and is committed to providing the best experience possible for both pets and their owners.
Outside of work, Jamie loves camping, fishing, and spending time with her three kids and her beloved blue nose Pitbull, Marcasite. Her friendly demeanor, drive for continued education, and deep care for her patients make Jamie an invaluable part of our team.
Morgan
Veterinary Technician
Morgan rejoined our hospital team in 2022, and we couldn’t be happier to have her back! She began her veterinary journey at Blue Mountain Community College, where she pursued her certificate in Veterinary Assisting, and brings a strong hands-on skillset to her technician role.
Morgan lives in Malheur County, Oregon, with her daughters and a full house of animals, including horses, cows, and dogs. When she’s not at the hospital, you’ll often find her riding her horse or lending a hand on her family’s ranch.
In the clinic, Morgan has a particular passion for drawing blood and running in-house blood panels—key parts of ensuring accurate diagnostics and timely care. Her enthusiasm, rural roots, and technical precision make her a trusted and valued member of our team.
Jenny
Veterinary Technician
Jenny became part of our team in February 2020, bringing with her both a strong background in veterinary medicine and a fresh start in Idaho after relocating from San Jose, California. With a deep-rooted passion for animal care, Jenny quickly became a compassionate and dedicated presence at Indian Creek.
Outside the clinic, Jenny is a proud boy mom, embracing all the joys and lessons that come with motherhood. She shares her home with her two beloved dogs—Kiara, a spirited Shiba Inu, and Roxy, a loyal German Shepherd. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys discovering new restaurants and relaxing with a good computer game.
Jenny's warm personality, commitment to high-quality patient care, and genuine love for animals make her a valued and trusted member of our team. She looks forward to welcoming clients and building lasting bonds with both pets and their people.
Ilda
Veterinary Assistant
A proud Caldwell native, Ilda brings a strong background in human healthcare to our veterinary team, with hands-on experience in patient care, first aid, CPR, and recognizing signs of neglect. Her transition into veterinary medicine has been a natural fit, and she now serves as one of our lead assistants.
In the hospital, Ilda is often found assisting in surgery, providing loving care to patients, and helping lead her team with compassion and skill. Her calm demeanor and dedication to learning make her a go-to team member in any situation.
Outside of work, Ilda enjoys reading, catching the latest Marvel movies, and spending time outdoors on long walks. She cherishes time with her rescued senior dog and energetic kitten, finding joy in both quiet evenings at home and movie outings with family and friends.
Ilda’s compassion, leadership, and well-rounded experience make her an invaluable part of the Indian Creek team.
Emily
Veterinary Assistant
Emily joined our team in the spring of 2024 after completing the Veterinary Assistant program at Boise State University. Her lifelong passion for rescuing animals is evident in the incredible array of pets she cares for at home, including over 13 cats, 10 dogs, chickens, geese, goats, pigs, a rabbit, parakeets, a cockatiel, a blue and gold macaw, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, aquatic turtles, fish, and tortoises!
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors camping and fishing, going on adventures with her dog Bruce, and staying active at the gym. She is especially interested in expanding her skills in blood draws and surgical assistance.
Emily is currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology through Penn Foster, with the goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Her enthusiasm for learning and deep commitment to animal care make her a valued and vibrant part of our team.
Kirsten
Veterinary Assistant
A recent graduate from Pima Medical Institute, Kirsten is excited to begin her career at Indian Creek and apply her skills in veterinary care. When she's not working, Kirsten enjoys relaxing with the latest Netflix shows, spending quality time with her family, and exploring the stunning outdoors of the Treasure Valley. She also loves to travel, discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and seeing the sights.
Kirsten is currently pursuing her education in veterinary technology with plans to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Her enthusiasm for animal care and dedication to her professional growth make her a wonderful addition to our team.
Briana
Veterinary Assistant
Briana joined our team at the end of 2023 as a Veterinary Assistant. A recent graduate from Blue Mountain Community College, Briana earned her certificate in veterinary assisting and gained valuable hands-on experience while volunteering with the Pioneer Humane Society.
Outside of work, Briana enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling. She is eager to expand her knowledge in veterinary medicine and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and clients. Briana’s enthusiasm, dedication, and eagerness to learn make her a wonderful addition to our team.
